Intermidiate Fiberglass Mesh

Description
Intermediate mesh = 11 oz. Per yard. Reinforcing mesh used to provide impact resistance for EIFS systems where a higher than normal impact resistance is required, also to bind together insulation in conjunction with base coat.

Use
To bind and provide higher than normal impact resistance on all systems. It is imbedded into wet base coat adhesive.

Coverage
Approximately 210 square feet per roll, allowing for 2" overlap for all seams.

Storage
Keep mesh from prolonged exposure to weather. Do not allow petroleum products to come into contact with the mesh.

Weight
Approximately 18 pounds per roll.

Application
Apply a layer of base coat adhesive to the substrate. Then imbed the mesh into the wet base coat layer by pushing it in with a trowel, from the center out to the edges, starting at the bottom of the building. The mesh should be fully imbedded into the base coat such that no mesh pattern or color is visible.
